Welcome to the Royal Motor Yacht Club Toronto

The Royal Motor Yacht Club is one of Lake Macquarie’s and the Hunter’s leading social, dining and entertainment venue.  The Club is located in historic ‘Lake Holme’, the former waterfront residence of William Arnott, founder of Arnott biscuits.  The Club offers a unique mix of 19th century architecture and modern facilities.  The Club has the features of a private establishment, but the relaxed atmosphere of a modern social club.

Featuring quality food, reasonable prices, and unsurpassed views of Lake Macquarie, visitors are always welcome as are children and families.

The Club regularly features live entertainment, social activities and in a hub for the West Lakes business community.  The Club is the perfect destination for your next event, wedding, corporate function or for just after work drinks.

MEMBERS AND GUESTS - HELP US MAKE RMYC TORONTO A GREAT CLUB.

The Board has a desire to make a number of improvements to the RMYC Toronto designed to provide greater appeal to its members and guests. These improvements are designed to improve our attractiveness as a function center, appeal to a younger and / or family audience, attract boating visitors from other locations, and ultimately increase the active membership of the club. It should be noted that whilst a number of improvements are being considered, we will not be able to bring them all to fruition – particularly in the short term, and some may never become reality. Never the less, we need to make a start, and we would very much appreciate your view of how you see the priorities. Please note, maintenance projects have been purposely omitted because they are all considered ‘most important’.
Attached is a survey that we would like you to complete. As an incentive for participating in the survey, we will put your returned completed questionnaire in a draw to win a $100 RMYC Club Voucher that can be used to purchase meals, drinks or club merchandise. The survey will be available via the club website and in the restaurant, at the bar and at reception. The survey will be open until the end of the year, so please sit down right now and think about the direction you want your club to take and the projects that will take us in that direction.
If you have any questions regarding this survey, you can either email the club at club@rmyctoronto.com.au or call (02)4959 2051.

RMYC TORONTO YACHTS IN 2014 SYDNEY TO HOBART

The crews of Lets Go and Inner Circle have been working feverishly hard to get their boats ready for the 2014 Sydney to Hobart classic yacht race. The two boats are seasoned performers even though they may be a little older than a lot of the 2014 Sydney Hobart Fleet. In recognition of their entry in the 2014 event, the RMYC Toronto held a special recognition BBQ and presented the crews with RMYC TORONTO AUSTRALIA / SYDNEY HOBART 2014 tshirts. Keep an eye out for these boats following the start of the race. A third boat that frequently races with RMYC Toronto, but is doing the 2014 Sydney Hobart under the Lake Macquarie Yacht Club banner, is She's The Culprit. We wish all the boats from 'The Lake' safe sailing in what is often regarded as one of the toughest ocean races in the world.

Crew (back row left to right) - Keith Jensen, Bryce Penfold, Neville Kerr, Jeff Robinson (front row left to right) Tim Hewson, Danielle Ovenden & Peter Hewson. Missing - Alyn Ovenden, Peter Walsh, Dale Johnston, David Haines
