Heaven Can Wait 2024
The 2024 Heaven Can Wait Charity Sailing Regatta was an outstanding success in every way! We doubled what we raised in 2023 raised over $80,000 in support of Cancer Council NSW and Marine Rescue Lake Macquarie. The handover of proceeds took place at the Royal Motor Yacht Club Toronto. On hand to assist with the handover were HCW Patron and local state member of parliament - Greg Piper, representatives of the primary sponsors - David Randall from Marmong Point Marina, Tim Turner from Rotary, and Jeff Jansson, Vice Commodore from RMYC Toronto. Representatives from the beneficiaries were also present - Hugh Harley, Chairman Cancer Council Australia and Jim Wright, Unit Commander from Lake Macquarie Marine Rescue.
